Job Summary:
The Grants Officer will play a key role in securing funding to support the conservation and community initiatives of Friends of Yellagonga Regional Park (FOY). This role involves identifying grant opportunities, preparing and submitting grant applications, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and identify grant opportunities from government bodies, private organisations, and philanthropic sources.
- Develop and submit detailed, compelling grant applications aligned with FOY’s goals and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and funding reports.
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, including timely reporting and fund allocation.
- Collaborate with FOY members to gather necessary information and data for applications.
- Build and maintain relationships with funding bodies and stakeholders.
